Title: Tutor II Alert
Post by: Steve Moore on November 13, 2006, 01:07:48 PM
I was out flying with my good friend Jack yesterday when on his 2nd flight he lost his Tutor ARF (2nd one). From what we can tell the glue joints on the bellcrank platform gave way. Went straight in comming out of a high inside loop, controls locked up, milliseconds before impact, FYI... SH^

Thanks for the info. Steve. I'm going to fly mine soon and I'll check that problem before I go flying!  I need all the help I can get. Did you have any problems with the adjustable lead outs? Mine seems to be glued and won't break loose. Thanks again for the info.     PAUL

Anyone using the included tank? I destroyed an engine on the first flight when it went dead lean for the last 10 laps.

I'm using the tank that came with mine. works fine even after a big crash.that was my fault not the plane. all though the spinner came apart and the prop flew off after a start up scared the crap out of me.prop came really close to gettin me.

Over on Stuka, ST has posted some autopsy pic's of his crashed tutor, looking @ the BC mount I noticed two pc of ply glued into the wing, to the best of my recollection, there was only one pc of ply on the plane that Jack crashed, FYI... :o
