Tutor ARF adjustable leadouts
« on: September 18, 2006, 08:47:57 PM »
I have a flying partner from 30 years back that has purchased a Tutor ARF.  We cannot get the adjustable leadouts to move...glued in perhaps...anyone else had this problem?

Really don't want to cut into the tip but there may be no other choice.

I had the same problem with the Score. I just grabbed the guides with needlenose pliers, after loosening the lock screws, and carefully worked it back and forth until it was looser. Still pretty tight- sliding, but thats a good thing as the lock screws really locks it.Good luck!

The stuck adj lead outs was a problem from the beginning with the tutor. I think most just worked them loose, some tore into it and fixed or replaced, some returned for exchange.
