These are the score board photos. After I get my wind in a couple days I'll post a full report in the results section.

Looks like you had a good turnout. Wish I could have been there or St Louis.

I had told Colleen at our Dallas contest that Lynda and I would be there in Tulsa but we could not make it this year. Lynda's dad passed the week before so we were at Lake Texhoma all week with funeral preparations and family. It has been a few years since I last was able to attend this contest and I really enjoyed it the last time I was there. Perhaps next year Lord willing.

Attempt #4, I'm getting closer....With Elwyn out of commission for a while, we are playing catch-up with photos. I'll try to put up a few Linda Bob snapped. Greg McCoy took some and maybe we can get some of his. dg

Hale and Hearty Marvin Denny with his Ringmaster 526.
These larger Ringmasters are Ringmasters in appearance only. A highly efficient wing with a very blunt LE and forward high-point make for very little flap area requirement. They turn tight and recover flat. Mine has one-one controls and less than 10 degrees total deflection. I think I saw four of these at this contest. dg

Here's Joe Hildreth, a fine builder and flyer from the Big D area, with his Original Profile. The "Unlimited" Profile Event is becoming more and more popular at our local contests... Joe uses the ST46 to his advantage.

Don Cranfill and his Skylark won Advanced, easing by Mike Greb with his Stiletto. Don's Skylark garnered the "Spirit of '62"

Some random pictures. The first picture is of Dale Gleason's big Ringmaster. The Hay's tank mounted on it's side is the eaziest plastic uniflow tank ever. No additional internal plumbing needed, the molded in vent serves as the uniflow.

Thanks for the nice pics.
Do you have any more of the P-47(?)
pre
Lawn Dart? It looks like it was a Brodak P-40 kit bash job, any details?

Nice report with names and captions. I wish everyone did that. Interesting to see that there where lots of Jackets in use and there where hands in pockets. I am happy to see that the cooler weather is coming. When it gets to cold for you come down to Stuart Fl. Fly with us. your welcome all the time. Chuck

The stunt ship in the foreground is Jim Lee's venerable "SunFlyer". It knocked my socks off in about 1995 when it was brand new, one beautiful plane with outstanding workmanship, clear so you could see it up close... Once again it flew very well, powering its way through the wind and turb.....dg
