No wonder you beat up on us so bad at Tulsa's meet! #^ #^ Looks really nice Bob. I will be looking forward to next year at the new field.

Thanks, we are looking forward to it also, if things go as planned we should end up with 3 of the nicest grass circles in the country, our airconditioned club house right in the middle of the activity, an on-site hobby shop with Power Master fuel and Brodak supplies, a covered shelter out by circle #2, a couple sets of bleachers for spectators, a wind sock between the circles and of course our flag pole flying the Stars and Stripes.. What more could a CL club ask for other than a paved circle which simply isn't in the budget..
Anyone know a millionair that would be willing to foot the bill for a paved circle ;D
Hey Chico, GiGi says hi H^^

Bob,
Teena and I can hardly wait to get moved, hopefully this spring or summer. I will be happy to pay my dues to the Gluedobbers if you all let me in. I still plan on having a circle or 2 and a runway on my property when I move. Hopefully I can pave the runway and incorporate a couple of paved circles. This will help us from ever running out of a field to fly at. Besides, maybe with 2 good sites we could get the CL Nats out of Muncie for a year or 2.
I'm sure a lot of flyers miss having the Nats at various sites around the country and you might see more entrants from different parts of the USA.
Can't wait to meet everybody and have some fun.

If well let you in heck we can't Wait come on down, we will have some fun.

Since you are moving the field 25 miles or so closer it just might be close enough for our group to make it down for some fun flying next summer. It shouldn't be much over a hundred miles from here. I already drive 65 miles most of the time so it seems very do able. It would be nice if I could just jay "Load the planes and bring the car around Jeeves we are going to Tulsa".
How far is the new field from the one they had in the fifties and sixties? I "competed" there several times, but I don't remember where it was. Of course I was always lost when we pulled out of the cow pasture.

"HEY GIGI!" Wish you could tell my stunt-daddy if I have to stay here on the porch and can't fly with the BIG DOGS...at least he could give me one of his old RED 'HOT ROCK' HANDLES TO CHEW ON INSTEAD OF THIS OLD SOFT WUZZIE KITTY TOY?" ("thoughts going through Pip-Sqeeeeeak Annies wire-headed Pea-Brain?"

The old Gluedobber field was at 145th east avenue and 41st street south. The land was sold about 10 or 12 years ago, and is now a golf course and housing addition. The new field is about 16 miles NE from old Gluedobber field.
