Title: Tulsa Gluedobbers Annual Contest
Post by: Elwyn Aud on September 28, 2019, 05:12:38 PM
On Friday the wind blew too hard for any practice flying but Saturday was pretty decent. Here are a few pics.

The Sweet Pea belongs to Don Cranfill. The plane is a Dale Kirn design called the Stinger. Sweet Pea was the full size racing version.

Another great contest missed.  So called grand daughter, sister of Emmy didn't tell me she was off this weekend until too late.  Thanks to Elwyn for the great pictures.  Of course I haven't had a plane in the air for over three months now.  Was going to try today, but too windy. D>K

Old Time. What makes a photo of a black and white poster board so huge pixel-wise? A regular photo cut down to this size is usually 35-70 thousand pixels and there seems to be a lot more detail in one of those.
