On The Glue Dobbers web site:
www.tulsacl.com there is a flyer and directions to Reeves Field. This is one of the few strictly combat contests in the US and the only one in District 8. Rick left off a couple of things on the flyer so this is FYI:
Four rounds, cumulative score. First place $250.00. Entry fee: 25.00. Pilot's meeting at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday the 29th. Later arrivals will be allowed to enter prior to the completion of the first round. After that, entries are closed.
Reeves Field has three very nice grass circles. At least one of these will be open for sport flying or stunt practice. The Tulsa ladies put on a great lunch spread and the BS gets pretty deep in the Pavilion. Even if you don't enter the contest, you will have a great time at Tulsa. Hope to see you this coming weekend.
