Got the call yesterday afternoon, to join Pete Peterson and Mike Haverly at 10:30/11AM today (Tuesday) at Auburn Muni for some stunt flying. We each got a few flights in, two for me. They were my first flights of Spring. Pretty ragged, but first run was a bit slow. I was happy enough that I was able to hang onto the handle, because my hands have been stiff and painful in the morning. No ARF R/C or baseball was seen, played, or even mentioned during the session. Oddly enough, Dave Gardner showed up, but only to collect some of Ian Russell's funny vintage dismal (sic) engines from Pete. I got home, got unloaded and it started pissing down rain! We dodged the bullet on that!
All in all, there were no airplanes broken, tho Pete's engine didn't seem to be in the mood to run right. None of Mike's batteries burst into flames, and none of the smoke got out of the wires, but Pete and I are both getting tired of all that "electric's are better" BS. They are. We know they have many advantages. Everybody just doesn't want to fly electric, so leave it alone!

PS: Got the call to go bass fishing tomorrow morning. Life is such a grind...
