Trying to take a bite out of spring
« on: April 25, 2008, 02:56:06 PM »
As you know I am brush coating my undercoats on my Arctic fox and doing a lot of sanding until I get some spraying weather. So am showing progress so far. I think it takes more paint the way I am doing it but when I am done it will be a real solid base. D>K D>K D>K D>K D>K HB~>

I painted a while ago, I may get to fly this weekend! finally!!! projected temps in the 60s, slight overcast, now if the wind will just stay away

the Ornamental is almost done and its time to get back on the 109 sanding for paint, so maybe soon?
For years the rat race had me going around in circles, Now I do it for fun!

Hi guys,

Weather is going to be in the 80+ this weekend. Today is only 79 degrees, guess I could paint? Ha Ha. Glad the weather is getting better, have a great day Gary

It's looking better.  Can you beleive temps in the 40's in eastern Kansas and it is the end of April.  No flying this week as will be working on new kit and Indy races at the speedway tomorrow.  Have fun,  DOC Holliday

I've got a ready plane, plenty of fuel, a place to fly near the house, and we've had some good weather, but between two jobs, two teenagers, a seriously ill father-in-law and some other resposibilities I've ended up with a very lonesome airplane.  Did I mention the half mile or so of barbed wire fence that needs building on my dad's farm?

You've got your responsibilities correct and there will be plenty of flying time later. My prayers to your father and good luck with the teens. Life sometimes can be a hassel. HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~>
