Well, I will have been married for 54 years in June. I started out our marriage by building planes in the living room with a ply board across my lap in my recliner. We had hard wood floors, so I did sweep up when I was done for the night. When the kids were little I would put the board on top of the refrigerator to keep them out of daddy's plane. My kids grew up thinking that all kids were stooges. But I digress.
My wife has launched many of my planes, even the ones with Fox 59's and ignition Anderson Spitfires, both without mufflers. Back in my R/C pattern days she called my maneuvers for me at contests, and helped critique my flying. I Made shure everyone new she was my "call girl". At every control line contest I have been to she always asks me if I need help just holler. She proudly proclaims to about everyone we meet that I fly control line planes.
If you happen to get one like this you must treat her like the Queen that she is. I know there are others out there that are blessed to have wives like me also. They seem to gravitate towards us modelers for some reason. God knows we need them.
