Trophy preview

Last year NVCL started a new tradition of awarding hand-made trophies to the 1st Place winners at our contest in September.  I know that Phil Spillman liked the one he won which I had made.  So, I've made another.  But different...

Here's what happens when the gremlins get to you.  And anyone who wins a 1st place has had to have had this experience a few times....

That is one crazy looking trophy. Everyone here would be proud to have that one.

You know that Tim has already dusted off a spot on his mantle for it.  I'll have to practice extra hard and then make sure that Jack R is one of our judges  ;D

You are right that would look real nice on my trophy shelf... ;D and your also right if Jack judges I better bring out my A game....he is so hard on me...... HB~> HB~> But like I tell all the guys in my club that say I am hard on them......I just judge what I see. y1... if you fly a 40 I'll write down a 40 #^ #^......if you fly an 18 you get an 18  LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~

Hi Scott, You're very right about my pride in your last year's effort! I have been competing with models since 1963 AND YOUR'S IS THE ONLY ONE MY HAS ALLOWED IN OUR LIVING ROOM! I look up at it from time to time and remember Old Time Stunt with my Humongous! What a dream flyer that thing is! Happy times just keep hanging around!
