Title: trophies, Trophies, TROPHIES!

A quick glimpse of the trophies that will be awarded at this weekend's (June 21,22) Summer StuntFest in Northern California. Well worth a trip from oh, San Jose, Oregon, Southern California, even Arizona or Nevada. Lots of events offered, you are bound to win something. Details in the Upcoming Events column. 8)

Is it being held in all of Northern California, or just one place therein?

Held at the Woodland-Davis Aeromodelers flyling field. Road 102 between Davis and Woodland in Northern California-hence the name. WDARC.ORG is the club's web site, Heman Lee's "Aeromaniacs" site also has info. Previously it was a one day contest, with the demise (temporary I hope) of the NW Regionals and the niceness of this site (three groomed grass circles) we hope to build this into a more prominant contest than it has been in the past. 8)

Good to see airplanes on them again!! I wanted so bad to attend, but like Mom Coad used to say-family first.

Glad you noticed Don. Hard to get airplane trophies these days. Had to be special ordered but sure look nice. Plane sort of reminds me of a Navion, nothing wrong with that. Maybe next year... 8)

Hey all you Nor Cal stunt flyers need to be at the Woodland Davis stunt circles this weekend.  Mike Cassle, my Dad and myself were all at the flying site today practicing for this weekend and had a great time.  Pete Cunha, Doug Barton, and crew have the field looking great!  The weather should be wonderful this weekend and everyone will have a great time.  Hope you all can make it out. ;D
