Anyone know a supplier for sheet tin to make fuel tanks? I would like to get a larger sheet than is available from K&S
Thanks,
Tom

Industrial Metal Supply in California has 4' x 4' sheets. When I bought one the saleman asked me if it was for adding to lead to harden bullets or for model airplane tanks!

What about the galvanized tin roof flashing material they have at the local hardware stores? I have some and miked it at .010" which is only slightly heavier than the K&S tim sheet.

Some of the best material that I have found is spent Power Master fuel cans. Clean the can with paint remover before you cut it up -- its a little easier. One can will make a lot of tanks.

Go to WWW.Maximum-Hobby.com
They have 6 X 12, K & S tin plate in .008" thickness.
