Trimming session at Buder
« on: July 18, 2015, 10:22:08 PM »
Down-in-the-dirt stunt testing!! -Dan McEntee

Rolled into town about 1700(5pm for you civilian types) and stopped at buder to continue triming the Texan, with no improvement.  Dad arrived shortly after, and within about 30 seconds of being at the field, identified a warp in the wing.  His jedi skills are still much better than mine.  We put some twist in the wing just awhile ago to compensate.

Big news is dad flew his Dusty, being the first new airplane off the builing table (no, Jaws 2 doesnt count) in about 20 years.  A little tailweight was required but flew and looked great.  It will be sure to delight the kids at Kidventure this year.

Glad you are getting your bird fixed and trimmed.

Looking forward to seeing you and your dad on Friday.
Should be fun.

Sean,

Glade to see Dan got it in the air.  I talked with him on our way back from the Nat's and he said you were rolling in to help him get it in the air.  Ben and I stopped by the field when we came thru but you guys weren't out yet.  Hope it does well at OsKosh.
