Tree Town AAA contest September 4th

Just a reminder that the Tree Town Modelaires are hosting the 45th annual Midwest C/L Championships this weekend at the Aurora municipal airport, located off Hwy 30, in Sugar Grove, IL.  Jim Renkar is the CD and Fred Krueger is the stunt ED.

Bring your pretty airplane.  We are not using appearance points, but will award a pilots' choice trophy instead.  See below.

In Champaign and on the way.  Will catch lunch at Bauer's Brauhaus German restuarant in Palatine on Slade Ave before settling in for the night to get to the contest on Sunday.  What time is breakfast at the little cafe east of the airport?

7:00 a.m. at Candi's on Hwy 47.  This is just opposite Waubonsee Community College.

Used them all up.  My plane was just toooo pretty.   ;D
