Fellow's I am putting a Vector arc together and with 5 coats of dope and silkspan on everything with wheels landing gear hinges fiberglass cowl, everything in the box it weighs 33 oz.
I am going to install an OS Max 46 for power.
What is a good finished weight??

Gil, I have a Vector arc with silkspan and dope finnish and it weights at 47ozs. It flies very well at that weight but lighter would be better it has a 46la for power 11x5 zinger prop.

Uncle Jimby's versions were both 53 oz full-up (one with a PA 40 UL and a lot of nose weight and one with a PA65 5-port). That sounds pretty consistent with a 33 oz weight with no powerplant or tank.
