It's really nice to have a few pictures.  Somehow I always take the camera and never have the time to take any pictures.  Thank you.  :)

Really a great set of pictures.  At least you spared me the agony of seeing the Novi IV in pieces.  Keep up the good work.

It was nice meeting you and jawing a spell.

Great pictures Keith, but, couldn't you crop a little gut off this old man?  Of course it was worse than that several years ago. Later,  DOC Holliday

I tried to rework the picture of both of us. I tried to do a "little cropping" and hair touch up. I kept getting the message "Out of limits"

Keith...
Guys like you and Leo...seem to know "EXACTLY WHEN" to snap the shutta-button. Lots and lots of great photos...but it is your people pictures that really show the talents of a good photographer. Capturing the moment is what it is all about...

What a beautiful collection of folks enjoying what they love...shows so clearly!
Thanks for sharing.

The LAST MODEL that I built...UP TO THE CLEAR COAT STAGE...was Dave Gierke's Novi 4 BUT WITH A "V TAIL!" I gave it away to a young gifted local flyer who had just plastered his new model just 3 weeks before a planned trip to the nationals.
Unfortunately his dad thought that the V TAIL CONCEPT WAS TOO RADICAL...and sadly they removed the V and went for a conventional tail instead.
BOTTOM LINE! NUTTIN PUNCHES MY MINDS EYE-BALL BUTTONS...LIKE A BEAUTIFUL ELIPTICAL WING PLATFORM.
I couldn't help but kidnapping one of your beautiful photos of that beautiful NOVI 4. Great MODEL EYE CANDY!!!

Thank you for the kind words. I love to take pictures and especially when I can share them. As was stated earlier that beautiful Novi bit the dust due to some component failure. I thought about taking a picture of the remains, but somehow it just seemed wrong.

Sometimes taking pictures can be very rewarding.  One time we were doing a job in a small town. A very nice old man walked down town every day and just walked around and talked to people and watched the construction project. One day I ask him if I could take his picture. He said , "Well I guess that would be alright" I got several good pictures of him. When I got the prints back I took them by for him. He looked at them for quite a while then he looked up at me with misty eyes and said , "Nobody ever took a picture of me" I just said I was glad to do it and left before my eyes got misty.

WOW! THAT SAYS IT ALL...I love candid photos...I used to have a Minox...that was just perfect for the occation.
Today...so many folks using cell phone cameras but what I see from them...uhhh? So-so?  H^^
