Top Flite Score
« on: September 19, 2006, 02:37:34 PM »
Hi folks,

This is my first post to the forum.  I have searched the topics
for info about what to do to make the "Score" a reliable practice
plane.  Someone showed a pic of CF landing gear mounted on theirs.
How or where do you determine what version/kind to use?

Thanks for the help.

Tom

Cris Rigotti did the fuse mounted CF LG on his for prop clearance for 4 stroke testing . Ralph Wenzel is doing one now that he beefed up the wing mounted LG blocks and bent new(taller) wire for it. I did also on mine. Use a 4" Tom Morris BC and ball link control system. I used CF pushrods; I got all of my stuff from CL Central (Jim Snelson).

Here is what mine(7" LG) looks like:

Yes, the Score is a good candidate for a 4S.  Will be installing an OS 52 on mine.
