Hey C/L friends!  SIG now has a facebook page.  If you're a Facebooker, search on SIG Mfg Co (no periods or other punctuation) and you should find it.  It's an open site, where you can post pictures or videos of your SIG airplanes.  It NEEDS some C/L contributions!

I just setup a FB page for our club. The Millington BarnStormers.

This is one way to reach the younger crowd. You have to play in their sandbox. LL~

 ARRGH, I've always sworn that I would never succumb to the facebook thing. This is tough, I'm going to feel really guilty not giving some C/L support on this one. I'll have to give it some thought I guess. In the meantime hopefully the "Facebookers" that are here can pick up my slack. Thanks to anyone who does.

Ah go ahead. It's not that bad. Kind of neat way to keep up with old and new friends and family.
Social networking is here to stay. Most  companies have at least one page. I see the place I work for has about 4 or 5 pages for different products.

 tweeter is another story.

That's great news. I spoke with the new Sig owners at the Toledo Show
last year and was really happy about their plans for the company. I've
always been a big supporter of Sig. Back when I was working at Hall's
Hobby House in Dallas we would always try to do as much as business
with Sig as possible. We always appreciated Sig's devotion to so many
areas of the model airplane hobby.

I keep telling friends and relatives I don't do facebook.   Still get E-Mails telling me to go to facebook.  I have too many forums now with this one as the number one,  SSW, Barton and Hangar Flying.

For those non-facebookers, FB is a great way to keep in touch with a large number of people, and even reconnect with people.  I've gotten back in touch with people from all aspects of my past on facebook, and its cool to see how people are doing.  Also a good place to post pictures and share info.  Yeah...some would argue that this forum already does that, but its more streamlined.  Im starting to see more and more CL guys getting on.  Come join the party!
