Hi Folks
Can anyone tell me where I can get a set of plans for Tom Warden's Minado?

If not availalbe from the normal sources, you might try Tom Lay or Bill Noyes (not sure how to get ahold of Bill now), they both flew with Tom Warden back in the day (as did I); they may have some idea of where those plans can be had.

Good luck, that was a good looking plane.

If you built a Continental with an I-beam wing, you'd have to be pretty close, wouldn't you?

Might I suggest, checking with Eric @ RSM, he kits the Continental, so maybe he could hook you up with a conversion kit.

Tom Lay flew the original at the VSC several years back. I think it's larger than the Continental. Tom made a statement that it flew sorta like a lowered '49 Mercury! I don't know if I have any photos or not, but if some one out California way can contact Tom, I'm sure he can clear it up.

Edit to add; It just occurred to me that at around the same time, Bob Storick showed me a picture of it taken back in the day when he lived out there, and was a friend of Tom Warden's and saw both models. Sparky out to be able to answer the question.

Here are 2 of the Minado and the green one is dead.
