I just found out our buddy Tom Niebuhr feel off a ladder at work last week and broke a leg.
Femur, right side and nasty. They put a rod in but he's still hurting.
He's in a hospital in McKinney called Baylor Scott & White. You can call his cell phone to cheer him up. (469) 450 7093.
To add to this misery his wife is ready to do a hip replacement. When it rains it pours.
Take just a moment and give him a call.

That sucks!

Indeed, it does. On the bright side, better to do it at work than at home during Honey Do's. I have to do some sketchy stuff around the house, but no more dangerous chit on the worksite. n1 Steve

I talked to him yesterday and he sounded pretty down. They are just now getting him up and moving....been 4 days since surgery.

Ladders are dangerous and gravity sucks. Very sorry to hear of this Tom, sounds like a rough one. Take care, and hoping your back up to speed soon.

Thanks Les,
I sure hope he is better soon.

Thanks for the notice Les! Broken femur is no fun at all even when you're young, which none of us are now.
Mine hurt like crazy when I was 30. Not sure I could endure it today!
I'm going to call Tom tomorrow. If there's a rod in it, it's a very bad break. Probably take a long time to heal!
