Wing question

I am building this Black Tiger as an electric fun flyer. I have no plans to ever compete again. After saying that I am building the wing and was wondering if it would be worth while to add a weight box or adjustable lead-outs? I really don't think I really need them for my type of flying. Thought I could get some opinions. Thanks

For people that fly for the fun of it, it is more fun to fly a plane that is well trimmed than one that flies like crap.....   Some basic trimming can really improve the way the plane flies.
No, You don't need to fly in competition, but why limit yourself to a plane that can't be easily trimmed to fly better?  Just a  thought.

Ok I put the Brodak adjustable lead-out in the wing like Mr. Brickhaus showed me. Hope I remember how to set it up. I believe he said to hang the plane by the lead-outs and adjust the nose to hang down 2 degrees. Does that sound about right anyone?

Motorman has it right.  I put my initial leadout center just a bit behind the CG with a spacing of about 3/4".  Adjustable doesn't necessarily mean you have to adjust, it is simply that you can.  If it pulls too hard move them up a bit, need more tension move them back.  Nose drops when the engine quits, you are nose heavy.  Pops up you are tail heavy.  Wings level and you have completed the sport trim checklist. There is trim and then there is "TRIM".  When most of us talk about trim we are talking about getting a better 3rd corner of the hourglass or dropping a tip in triangles.  The range of acceptable trim for sport flying is huge in comparison.  Now go have fun!

Thank you for the information guys. I am getting anxious to get going...come on spring! I think I will practice on my Brodak electric super clown that after 6 years is still a virgin and wall decoration.

In my opinion Jim Lee is exactly correct do every thing to make the airplane help you fly better. It will be much more enjoyable.
