Tom and Russell visit Chuckatuck
« on: April 16, 2008, 05:26:25 PM »
I went to the hospital yesterday to visit the chemotherapy oncologist and received some good news.  No more chemo at least for a while.   ;D  I've been feeling better every day for the last two weeks since I've been off of it.

I felt so good and the weather was so fine I called Russ Shaffer who is visiting the area from Oregon and said lets take a road trip over to Eagle Hobby in Chuckatuck and see what's new.

I haven't visited Eagle Lately and since it was a nice day I thought a road trip was in order.   LL~

Russell picked up a couple of gallens of fuel to haul back to Oregon and I managed to drop a few shekels myself. stuff just leaped off the shelf at me.   LL~

I managed to snap a few photos and plan on posting a review on Tom Atkins and Eagle hobby.  For now here is the URL for eagle hobby, a control line friendly Hobby Shop:

Maybe, but I get tired of the tales repeated by some club members about mountains of ST 60 and 46 motors new in boxes, stacks of Shark 45 kits, CL-3 Chipmunks, Magnums, etc etc. S?P

Personally, I think the secret room in the other building contains nothing more than some scrap balsa, moth eaten plans and a few lousy Guillows free flight kits, plus more cases of that dried up Testors 39 dope like they have by the front counter! y1

I can neither confirm nor deny the presence of a backroom secret or otherwise.
