Post by: John Desrosiers on October 07, 2011, 03:25:49 PM
My 1952 ringmaster flys with a little outside wing up. It has one oz of tip weight. Do I need more tip weight? Everthing else seems to be ok. Im useing an os 25 with a two and a half oz brodak tank.  thanks

Does it fly tip up when inverted as well?  If so, then yes, a tad more tip weight.  If tip is up while in level upright flight, but DOWN in inverted level flight, you have a slight twist or warp in the TE, more than likely. Could be something else, but check there first by looking at the TE from the rear while holding it up in front of you. It helps if you use a window mullins for reference.  H^^

Hi Ty,

OK, I'll bite...what the heck is a "window mullins"?

Oh, the things you learn criticizing other people's spelling:

Can you imagine how much dumber we'd all be without Wikipedia?
