It looked as good as I remembered, If only that fat judge in the white hat couldn't have moved a little faster.
Great flight and awesome job filming from Charles.

Thank you, Warren

Hi Charles,
Did I miss the outside sq's or did he? I liked the fact that the camera was stationary. Very good!
Cheers, Jerry

As Just Tim's official OH8 coach...I liked it. I thought the OH8's could have perhaps been slightly larger. HG was nice, SQ8 outside looked a little buggered on the last outside, IIRC. Tim's progress has been stellar!
The wide angle lens makes the flying circle look like a bowl, which I'm hoping it isn't. I haven't seen the site in person. I was wondering who the judges were. H^^ Steve

Gary Akers and Warren Walker. The circle is dead flat, flying there, however, is a character-building experience. It was fine on this particular day because it was over before the, er, "fog" cleared, so the wind was nearly dead calm.

If the wind was almost dead calm why is he moving the judges?? He should or or could give them a lap extra between maneuvers. S?P

Doc, when the wind is almost nil, it will change directions suddenly, likely due to thermal activity as the overcast burns off. Not likely to happen in a midwest breeze. I recall stopping at the Cabela's home store in Sydney, Nebraska...I was impressed that all the trashcan lids were held on with 30 lb rocks. I thought that was not the place to either fly models or fish. H^^ Steve
