Title: Tightening up of security

I do apologize if anyone got booted off at 6:00 I am ruining a tighter ship now trying to weed things out. Just log in again and your are good to go. This is a learning experience for me.

we have some web crawlers hitting our site and I am trying to block them within the settings. If I can not I will replace this board with the updated version during forum maintenance. Please bear with me. Thank you! Robert

I tweaked up some more I Hope this solves some of our problems. The problem is with all the Guests reading and not logging in it uses up the resources for the ones who will play by the rules. Bummer

If I click on your IP address and it has you name attached to it then it's OK. It is when I click on a name and it attached to no one that is burning up the resources. But I'm working on it. I hope to see less guests in the IP window that only I can view. At one time today we had 56 guests who have no account. This is a members only site. Anyone can be a member but you have to join first.

If I let this continue I will have a hard time in the future banning trouble makers as I would have to ban an entire IP block. That would leave legitimate user's out in the cold. So I am heading the problem off before we get too big to handle.
