This is nothing compared to what has happened to the rest of the country, but it is unusual for Miami, Florida. We just had a thunderstorm sweep thru with heavy rain and pea sized hail.

Ty, we the Shipp's are still here. We have no power but are getting by on 4 deep cycle batteries a 2000 watt inverter and a 500 watt gen set. We have no damage but friends of ours got wiped out. I have 2 gensets loaned out and am supplying hot baths to the neighbors because we have gas back-up for hot water. I worked for 2 days at a friends shop that took a direct hit. We recovered about 70,000 lbs worth of bronze and copper and stopped the looters. We stayed at night with Garands and shotguns to keep people from making late nite shopping trips. Looting is happening everywhere but the right tools and people will stop it. We should have power back in 5 more days. How is the rest of the club members doing and do any of them need help.

Curtis and Ty, it is great that youpeopleare making it okay. These looters tho I think need to be laid to rest, no questions asked. Would not take long for them to get the message. Hope all the rest of the modellers are okay. H^^
