Title: Thrust Line Adjustment
Post by: Garf on January 25, 2011, 03:52:33 PM
I am in the process of turning an ARF Nobler into a profile with a side mounted engine. Will this require a change in the engine thrust line to keep the vertical CG in the right place?

Look in the Photo Gallery District 2 and one of my Profile Noblers picture is there. I have 3 flying  and have hints if you need. This is my latest.

Hi Phil,

When I did my first "Profile Nobler" (from my crashed Green Box kit) in 1965, I didn't change anything, and it flew great.  But then who knows?

My "creation" is almost ready. It will start off with a Brodak 40 and if necessary, I have several OS's ready to replace it ranging from an S30 to an LA 46.
