Title: Those wonderful folks at SIG
Post by: Ward Van Duzer on December 31, 2009, 07:52:18 AM
Some may recall that I won the December Stunt Hanger Primary Force ARF. (Thanks Sparky)

The box arrived at my door Christmas Eve in good condition. However, the inboard wing tip was somewhat crushed. So, with a little stretching, and some CA we got that fixed. But the covering wouldn't fully shrink back to give the original appearance. At that point I noticed that the first rib (presumably mounting the leadout slider) was also broken. Rats!

While I haven't gone after that yet I did email SIG about my troubles, and the fact that I would be needing some orange covering material to cut into the wing for a decent repair.

Wouldn't you know it, they are sending me a swatch of material to repair my Force! Great Service...

Thanks a bunch folks!

I am surprised they didn't send a new wing.  They are a great bunch.

Nope, didn't really need a new wing. Just a crushed wing tip.

Requested material showed up in 3-4 days.

Terrifff!

Thanks guys!

I bought an Akromaster kit of an online auction house that I will not name. It was in the plastic wrap and ended up missing a couple of parts. Sig sent me the parts no charge and paid the shipping!! Way above the call on that one. I buy Sig and tell everybody else to do the same!!

Sig has been selling the Akromaster kit for less than 25 dollars in recent times... I hope you didn't burn yourself in the auction! HB~>

Sig has some really good prices on some of their kits. Any time you see one at auction or just for sale on another site , you might swing by Sig's site to double check prices before you make a huge boo-boo.

Still As mentioned Sig is top notch in the TCB.

Don't forget that SIG also sells wings! For instance, you can buy just a Chip' wing and build a real FORCE around it.
