1968 outside bam-e-tuit [sp] in South Vietnam, I was driving on a dirt road in a army jeep when I heard an angry n oise overhead. I looked up and caught myself looking into the tailpipe of af F-4 Phantom climbing straight up away from me. Never did see or hear it coming. The video is awesome. God bless y'all.  Nick

The best one was the guy standing in the center of the runway! IMHO.

Its commomly referred to as a vapor burst.

Neat! Thanks  H^^ . You can see the burst vanish as the plane pulls into the slightly dryer air at the end.
