Hi Bob,

Thanks for reminding me of Mr. Park and his Corsair!  It is absolutely unbelieveable!

I have a youTube, somewhere of a 1/4th (or thereabouts) scale Ferrari that is totally authentic down to a running exact scale replica engine and everything on the car works exactly like the real one.  He made working gauges in scale, etc......  A fellow in Europe machined, etc., all the parts.  He starts it up, shifts the gears (it's on a special stand) and everything.  Every part is reproduced in scale.  I cannot believe it!

I've seen it before but it's still amazing. The only glitch I see is the full size Corsair had wooden ailerons.

Here is a link to the North American Model Engineers Society
http://www.modelengineeringsoc.com/ (http://www.modelengineeringsoc.com/)

Their annual show is coming up in a couple of weeks at Toledo. They will have models of all types including engines, guns, tanks, airplanes, ships and on and on. Some of them will be equivalent to Mr Parks model. I will have a few models there. None of them will be among the equivalent. I think the Ferrari will be there.
