'Mystery' Super Tigre Engine ?
« on: May 02, 2009, 10:22:53 AM »
Greetings all from a sunny Charente in S.W.France.
Help please for a fellow club member......

One of my club colleages has just asked me today to find out as much as possible about one of his ' older ' engines.

The case is marked , so he tells me as follows :

BABY TIGRE [ OR TIGER ]
G22
MADE IN ITALY
1.3 cc.

Oh , I think he said it was also a DIESEL. He also said he'd bought this engine in the U.K around 1955.

So , does anyone know anything about this 'mystery' engine please ?
I was only 9 years old in '55 and am a big Tigre fan but  my memory has gone down the drain ever since !

Much obliged to anyone who can provide any info' for my pal ,

Robin [ ex-pat Brit in the Charente full of ex-pat Brits ]
