I was very fortunate to have Derek and Mark O to make last year's NATS the best we could present. And we had 14 judges. I took the ED position as a Thank You for being a very small part of PAMPA and the control line community. It was an awesome experience only riddled by those things that I wish had gone smoother.
Dave took the ED position because no one would step forward. The same happened twice to Dennis a few years ago. And this upcoming NATS will be the most testing of them all for all the obvious reasons. I can tell you from my experiences from the Nats, Triple Tree, and Brodak, that Dave absolutely needs an Assistant ED! Period. It can be a contestant, as is usually the case.
If the National Championships is that important, than someone needs to come forward to help him out so the contest runs well. Everyone wants to fly in these events provided someone else does all the work.
We are better than this! It is not Dave's NATS!! It is our NATS!!
