New in flight adjustable handle
« on: February 22, 2025, 11:45:14 AM »
I custom made this for my friend, who gave me the exact dimensions he required.
Can be used with the adjustment knob top or bottom.
Weight = 2.2 ounces.

That's VERY cool. I loved my ancient Hunt CSC Tru-Just handle. Would you mind showing the internals?  Thanks!

Very nice job, Bob!
I would like to ask for a photo on left side: is there some seat for thumb?
What solution/mechanism is used to adjust&arret the "0" position inside?
Do you think on some development for adjustable sensitivity?

Hi, Rick - as you wish! Here are the innards.
My friend sent me the desired dimensions and I built it to his specs.
Keep in mind that I wanted the design to be as simple as possible.

Istvan - no, no seat for thumb. I could include one if I wanted to.
The design is basically an adjustable Hot Rock with custom dimensions.
No means of adjustment for zero position.
By sensitivity, I assume you mean line spacing? None at this time but it's in the works!

Comments welcome!

Where were you when I was still flying Hot Rocks!  Almost makes me want to go back to cable....almost.  Is there a locking mechanism?  I can imagine all sorts of mischief if you can't lock it down once you get it adjusted.

Great Job - Ken

That's cool. Does the cable turn the corner right on the wood?
