Meteor

There are a couple things to keep in mind when designing a new plane. I like the thought of the radial engine planes as I do not have to use a spinner. The Nemesis has a low wing and I will have to cheat. The F6F has a good fuse, but the landing gear is in a strange place for control line and I would have to cheat on that as well. So to me I am leaning toward the Meteor. I could use a chlorine bottle as a cowl. Make you vote and I will let this go until tomorrow to see what the public would like to see.

I imagine the 3-View you show is from the book "The Air Racers". I have that book. I recognize the little pylong in the middle with the plane name. Very cool and the book is quite an inspiration for designed air racer like stunters.

How do you vote? I say the Meteor from a builders perspective would seem like the way to go. Landing gear in the fuselage, stunt planform type wing etc.

The vote is over and the Meteor won

I had built the Wendell Hostetler version[giant scale] R/C . The sound of a 4.2 C.I motor is invigorating on a model like that. Also did his Jeep. Racers from the golden age just naturally have to fly good
