What ! No fuel filter ?
-
Now that's a "test stand"!
-
Hey PJ...is that the 75 you got from me?
Good to see it running. What is it going in?

hmmm.... has anyone ever named a model "Queensland tiger" or "Yarri"?
-
@Randy - Im not sure if thats your 75.. I ended up getting quite a few I don't have anyway of knowing who sent me what.
Needless to say they run well.
There is a fuel filter running inline - just not on the test stand version.
Whats it going into ? I thought the first photo would be enough of a hint.. I guess you guys want plane photo's..
The Tiger is sleeping at the moment - I was able to get a snap shot of it a few months ago briefly before she retreated to the safety of the garage for painting..
Its going here :

Nice woodwork on the cowling...

PJ the plane looks good. I'd put wheels on the test stand and ride it around the yard.

That nose looks muscular... I hope some more pictures will appear at some point.
-
This was but a preview.
- I did have to secure the test stand down... first start moved it forward, and its not light!
-
PJ, I just know that is going to look G-r-r-r-r-r-reat! (http://www.baerpm.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/tony_the_tiger-lg1.jpg)
Sorry, I just couldn't resist...

Eric - Thanks - but its not going to have THAT much detail !

I like your test stand anchor...Looks like a T/F nylon, that's about all they're good for.
-
Funny story behind that Nylon..
My late grandfather gave Dad 2 rolls of it.. Maybe 1000 ft in each roll. - We got given them in around 77 - 78. Its been used for lots of different jobs here and there - Im still not through the first roll..................
Your spot on.
Back to painting.....
