I know some of you have already sent in your $50.00 deposit for the Stingray kit coming out after the first of the year so I wanted to give you an update.
The plans and CAD file are done and a copy of the plans were sent to Bob Gialdini for his approval. I had a converstation with Bob a few nights ago after he had reviewed the plans and he made a couple of suggestions that are just minor adustments to the file and as soon as Eric Rule gets home from his vacation, those adjusments will be made and production of the kit will begin.
There will be a lot of wood in this kit and I do not think this kit is for someone who has little to no building experience. Anyone who has building experience either from scratch or from a kit will have no trouble with construction. I will be doing a test build before the kit is released to make sure everything goes together properly before the kit is released for sale.
With the holidays coming up, I am sure it will be the first of the year before I can do the test build and I would think the kit would be released sometime in January or Feb...DO NOT CHISEL THAT IS STONE - but that is my best guess.
Thanks for the pre orders and hang in there...it will not be long now.
