I am Hooked

Well I guess I am late to the party but I finally got my RSM electric P40 down off the wall and charged the battery and flew it.  I am sorry I waited so long to try electric cause I got hooked.  There is something to be said about pushing a button, walking to the handle and watching a whisper quite CL plane take to the sky.  I will keep some glows on hand and still fly them but I am now in the process of building my Ground Fault and Banshee in electric versions and I have a feeling this is going to be my future in flying control line.  I included a couple of pictures of the Electric P40.

Having only just recently got myself going with an electric plane I too can say I've caught the bug. Don't know why I waited so long. My only gripe was waiting for the batteries to charge back up, my new charger should solve that problem though. Like you Mike I will keep a few engines for sport flying but for serious stunt machines I doubt I'll ever use another slimer.

It is Gene, we are fortunate to have it.  One is a 70 ft circle and the other is a 60ft circle.  It is my understanding that the circles were poured in the early 1960s.  They are located in a city park.  Our club maintains the grounds and fencing and our dues go mostly for maintainence expenses.

Yes, they are easy to deal with for sure, and hardly any vibration.

Yea, first time I flew Mike Haverly's electric I was done. The power delivery and consistency just take the power train concerns out of the equation.

About time you got that thing to the flying field! Now we are waiting for one of your videos of the flight.
