The New Hanger!
« on: April 01, 2010, 07:47:00 PM »
My wife and I moved into our new house 2 1/2 years ago; at the old place I left behind two shops totaling 1735 sq ft. The new house has no stairs, so it's easier on my wife's knees, but it had NO shop space.

After pinching pennys since moving here, I now have the new hanger!

An all metal builing on a concrete slab is what I considered.  Too many people kept telling me that I would not be happy with it.  So I went with a kit from Sutherlands all wood on concrete pilings.  Can't wait to see your finished shop.  H^^

My first choice was for a stick built shop on a slab. But with the economy doing what it's doing  ~^ I went the least expensive way I could find. This pre-fab metal building saved me over 30K vs. the wood. There are trade offs for sure, but at least I know have a shop. I told my son I was spending his inheritance, and I guess I am.  LL~ LL~
