Here it is in silver. The illegitimate child of the Flying Flounder's one night stand with the Flite Streak. Thankfully they weren't pro-choise....

Its life's ambition is to be a Saber-Dancer at Scott's Flying Circus and Emporium. But it lusts after Dan Banjock and wants to meet him at Brodaks this year....

Hey, let us know how it flies! It will definitely outfly the Flounder and it's a pretty "cute kid". Nice original styling.

It will be Fox 35 powered and has the same engine offset as the Bi-Slob.

Somebody needs to make an M2 F2 Flounder so when it crashes it looks like Steve Austin's crash!

I don't know Steve...this one might do a really fine job (of crashing!)

This whole thing of painting it gold is becoming a challenge. I can't get SIG gold (and the local hobby shop says that they can't get restocked on SIG dope (!) and I have seen some other manufacturer's gold dope once it got old or maybe got fuel on it (turned green but I'm reluctant to put it over a SIG base anyway) so I'm sorta gonna havta mix up some orange and yellow and silver but not sure how that will turn out (green too?) oh well.

Dupli-Color lacquer will work fine. Clearcoat with Randolph or automotive 2-part death paint.

Affirmitive to the rattle can.

An alternate plan would to buy the dry pigment from an auto paint specialist and mix it with clear dope. Randy Powell and Mike Haverly do this sort of stuff all the time.

I just checked SIG's site and they do not list Gold. I also checked Brodak's site and they do have Gold in 4 oz. and pints.

If the SIG has dried sufficiently the Brodak should go over it without problems. Generally Brodak gasses off faster.

So now you have several choices.
