The Days of Flying Commercial
« on: February 08, 2013, 07:55:21 AM »
Courtesy of "Plane-A-Day", the days of when flying was great for passengers, especially first class.   Also to me the one passenger plane that could replace the Connie for looks.   Great aerial video on the video of the week.

She's a looker no doubt, but nothing can come close to the lines of a Connie! n1 H^^

I can remember as a young fellow watching the Connies fly out of Anchorage.  At that time they were hauling fish to southern markets in Californiw if I remember right.  Stunningly beautiful birds and I don't even like commercial stuff!  LL~

I remember when I flew on business in the 1960's I always wore a suit. Even when I was not meeting anyone that same day. How times have changed.
