Hi Allan,

I have one under construction, but no pictures.  It is based on the Nova/Novar design of several years ago.  It uses the Rite Flite,  instead of the SV aerodynamics from Randy.

Not familiar with "Rite Flite" aerodynamics.  What is that, an older design ?

How would you describe shape of fuse,  open cockpit like the Chevelle or not ?

It is an airfoil Randy has used with a lot of success on several planes.  I could be wrong, but I think the Dreadnaught uses that airfoil.

The fuselage side view is a turtle deck and similar to many of the old I-Beam designs.  Somewhat Werwage inspired , is how I would describe it.  A *Classic* design so to speak. ;D

The plane has the look of an Ares, Argus, Cobra typr of ship It is almost 700 Sq In and is  one of my aero packages, The wing is a Ryte Flyte design which is a SV airfoil that has a little more chord and is 1/8 in thinner than it typical brother.
It has a turtle deck style closed canopy that could..as any can be...made open

I can't post the plot or plan but many are in my catologs  and if interested I can mail out a small 8.5 x 11 plan of the ship in any order  or with any  SASE

Question, the long extension of the pilots headrest back to the rudder, what is that part called.  Or does it even have a name ??

Allan,
It could be called a modified turtle deck, or a very long head rest. But you probably can also call it a " long extension of the pilots headrest back to the rudder".

I would like to see some pics of this myself. Need to get a new catalog. What ever happened to your Chevelle Allen?

Hi John, one of the inspirations for this kit-bash was your Chevelle design, still on my short list of stunters I plan to build someday. 8)

Sweet!....open cockpit adds a sporty twist to the Vector! Not that it isnt already a sporty model.  ;D I have a new Chevelle in refinement on the board. Same looks but aerodynamically different, new power etc.. H^^

That was a nice one. I say "was" because I crashed it, my bad, not the models. Weighed 44 ounces all up with a Randy modded 40 FP. I have another Vector kit stashed away so will be making another one one of these days. 8)
