After showing a picture of my oldest son, I thought I would show a picture of "his" son, Gabe. 2 years old now, but he already loves "Ta Ta's" airplanes!
(that's our 1 year old 70 lb. Lab puppy that he's with)

HEY-HEY-HEY "Billy"
Ya can't never start um to young, but I think you might have a tough time teachin that dog to hold onto the handle? OOOPS you meant the young-un my mistake, no that can't be right cause in 2030 the young-un will be 25 years old, so you must mean the dog, right? If you mean the young-un why are you gonna wait that long for him to win? Then again if it's the dog it will be 24 years old and-------aw the heck with it I got my own self confused now.
Seriously (did I just say that word) have fun teachin your Grandson how to fly.
"THE ONE AND ONLY G-MAN" VD~ VD~ VD~
EDIT--------ALSO IF YOUR PROFILE IS ACCURATE THAT WILL MAKE YOU **

Looks like the kid is destined for the defensive line. Already, he's learned to tackle.
Very cool, Bill

Actually, "Ta TA", and his Uncle Adam were D-I Middle Linebackers! Plus his Dad played Center and MLB in HS, and the young'un has a hard head already! LL~ LL~
He always wants to go to the basement and see the airplanes. Naw, I ain't proud at all! LL~ LL~
Dick Byron gave Gabe a custom "Big D" handle for his first Christmas present! ;D

Wow this is some young guy. I hope he turns out as nice as his papa. H^^ H^^
-
Now that is a great picture...beautiful kid, and what a look on his face! You gotta frame that one and put it on the wall.

Thanks, Guys. Him, and his sister, are pretty special to me, at least! ;D

H^^ #^ #^ Bill, I saw a bumper sticker that put it in perspective...
It said " Grandchildren are God's way of giving us a second chance".
I sure do agree with it....

I am going to put some perspective on this. Could be that Shultzie, Gruby and myself will not be there to congratulate Grandson but we will be checking it out. I hope controline is in the future for that era!

Hi Leo;
Two hours at the field flying and the little lady wasn't feelin well so had to call it a day. Got the old Magnum up twice, second time up coming out of the reverse wing over the engine quit UH-OH. A little(no pun intended Bill) runnin and dancin and all is well, Thank goodness for grass. LOL Now Leo about your post, HMMMM---GRUBY---is to formal for me if you don't mind could you bring it down a notch. LOL And for how long I am gonna be around I'm not even gonna get into that one with ya.
Billy you didn't say nothin about a sister when you posted that picture how come? All you talked about was the young-un and the dog that you were gonna teach to fly. Are you gonna teach her too? You better start watchin out they are gonna start gettin ahead of ya quick. Gil is right Grandchildren are your second chance, like I said somewhere else around here it's the same as the first time but you already know the outcome. LOL WOW this got long, see ya have fun.

Here's "Princess Alex", she just turned 6, Gabe just turned 2.
She already has her own 1/2A, in Pink and Purple, of course!
Gabe is ready to glue his hands to balsa almost. He grabs his hammer, jumps up on the back of the couch, pulls off his shirt, and "builds BIG barn!"
-
And with "her favorite puppy"!
-
With a little coaching and decent planes he could win the Walker Cup in less than ten years. Great looking youngens there. Just don't yell at them when they have a mishap. Later, DOC Holliday

As long as this post is now doing Grandkids It's time for me to do a little bragging. I realize that we all have the best looking an heathiest Grandkids in the world so I won't get into that. I figure that mine looks just like me which says a lot about grandpappy. I still can fly better than him but he can run faster than me an this guy i don't like to give back as soon as some of the others. Just call me superseed!
-
Dang,I forgot to put in the Picture------ the closer I get to that 75 mark??<>@#!! Any way this is Evan No. 2 Grandchild.
-
OK here's all of mine.
-
Hey Minnesota guy, She looks like a lot of fun-Has anyone got buttons left on thier shirt?
-
Not in this house, Leo...Yeah, the "pirate" is a real character, never know what she's gonna come up with next.

When I was about 18 I came home after some serious partying. My father and I were having a "discussion" when the subject of how much money I was spending came up. I said "You cant take it with You" My father replied " At the rate you are going you are not going to have enough to get there"
