Our CD for this event, Rich Peabody, has determined for safety reasons this event is being cancelled for this weekend. Winds are forecast to 17-20 mph both days, so not only would pilots be risking their aircraft to fly, there can be no meaningful flight trimming or flight critiquing, which is the whole purpose of this event.

We apologize for any inconvenience, but it is better to err on the side of caution and still have your airplane. Even a competitive stunt contest can be cancelled when winds reach 20 mph. This event is not even a contest, where pilots are more willing to push the envelope.

The winds of April were not kind to us this year.
