Have fun guys. Let me know if you want another categorie installed. LL~ H^^

I read the instructions, study the plans, then do whatever the heck I think is best.
Usually the result is that I follow the instructions closely for some parts of the assembly, and diverge from them in others.

With all the kits I have built and the plans I try to build from, if there are written instructions I try to read them thru at least once. As my brother did one time, he put the controls in the wrong wing panel. Both panels needed gouging out for the controls. One panel was hard balsa and the other was sugar pine(or something similar) for weight on outboard wing.

How about "All of the above." ;D

How about "None of the above."

IMO, Mr. Wescott, 1st reply to OP, has it all figured out especially for me.

When I have a kit I follow the plans.........but more often then not, I scratch build. But in the case of S1 Ringmasters, I have a set of plans I build from, and have built so many of them, I don't need anything more than the pattern. For the record I voted "None" H^^
