On behalf of co-CD Len Bechtold and myself, I would like to thanks all that made the inaugural Skymasters contest a success!
We had more fliers than I expected (I believe 12?) and the site was terrific!
Super 52 had three entries, and there were 8 in PA. Three fun scale fliers and about 8 OTS fliers.
Len and his partners did a super job of field prep and Len's family put on a great spread!
I will sort the results and post them.

don't want to hear anyone in FLA complain about no contest , the Sky Masters went all out to put on a good fun contest , and they did
everyone chipped in to help ,the field was good for the first time it had been cut for U/C . the large pavilion was well used . they had power for charging battery's and plenty of room for RV's
they are already planning on a date for next year and so am I.

The absolute best CL Contest I've ever attended!
Gotta tell ya, Rich Peabody and Len Bechtold, along with a countless number of people on their staff, did a tremendous job in making everyone feel like they were at their local flying field. A pleasent morning and afternoon, and without a hitch.
I saw more hand shaking than fist fighting. LL~
I was even shaking hands! n~
Speaking of fields. They had the field specially dressed, and mowed to the shape of a circle, three actually, just for the contest. Talk about bringing out the red carpet!
Cooked food on the grill and plenty of cold drinks, not to mention chocolate chip cookies and brownies!!
An amazing event and an amazing time.

Dennis and Lynn, from our local field did quite well.

Super 52 Stunt, 2nd. place for Dennis.
Fun Scale, 3rd. place for Lynn.
The drive home is always shorter when you win something.
