I want to personally thank John & Buzz & all the wonderful people that put this gathering  together. It was such a great time for me to watch and see everything going on.

Ditto from the old DOC.  It was great to meet people that I have not met and see ones I already know.

For those who have never been its in John's back yard. There is 6 circles and room for camping and more. RV parking across the street. John opens his shop up to all of us and provides and feast on Friday night. Its a gathering of good times. John committed to 20 years and it has ran 18 so 2 left. Everything comes to a end, So sad but true. The memorial plaque's will be moved to the Museum. I would like to thank John for his hospitality and friendship.

I will also add my thanks to Buzz & John.
Without a doubt, the "First Family" of CL Model Aviation - nobody has done more for the sport than the Brodaks.

John and Buzz put on a fabulous show. There is no way that John makes money on this contest. The grass in the outer parts of the circles is mowed every day. The 13 porta potties are pumped every two days. John pays the wages of all his employees who work at the contest. The trash cans are emptied daily. Every employee of John Brodak acts genuinely happy to be at the contest.

Thank you, John and Buzz for a splendid contest!

I wish to thank John and Buzz also--- for the past times I was able to attend as well as the past two years in which my health has kept me away.  The many pictures and videos keep me happy and informed.  Hope I will be able to make one od more before  John quits.  (Hope he never quits)\

I've yet to ever be able make it to the Brodak contest, but I'd also like to sincerely thank John, Buzz, and the entire gang for all of their efforts. John's personal commitment to our hobby has been second to none, by a long ways. Overall, the Brodak contest (and gathering) is clearly, and currently, the top notch event in our C/L hobby. Other than the NATS, as far as I know, no other single C/L event covers as many competition categories. Add to that the relaxed environment, pristine setting, the friends and fellowship, and you have an event that is very tough to equal. At the same time the "new regime" at Sig has essentially turned their backs on us, ending the long running annual contest, and discontinuing product. That has left a very empty feeling for many Midwestern C/L enthusiasts and I can't imagine the Brodak's doing the same. I really hope the Brodak event can somehow continue past John's original 20 year plan that has been mentioned, and that I will be lucky enough to be able to enjoy attending as well. Thank you again John and Buzz. H^^
