Being a member of the AOPA, I just received this TFR NOTAM. Take close notice at paragraph C. "model aircraft operations." Kind of says a lot. Hello Barney! S?P

Yeah, exactly as expected.  Question would be does Control line tethered flight qualify as Model Airplane Operations

Like I said before!  Politicians never give a complete answer to a question, and neither does any government agency!

Never would have known about this if I hadn't seen it here.   Even if it was the KCI airport I would not know about a Presidential visit unless Air Force 1 was flying way too low.  Also my max altitude on my longest lines is 70 feet. S?P

Doc, the AMA will send you an email notice, if they have your email address. They have sent them to me. Only for some reason, I've been less and less inclined to check my email on a daily basis.  y1  Steve

Trump's coming to town for the NRA convention. CL or not, it's only 3 hours around lunch time tomorrow. Not worth getting one's panties in a bunch! Z@@ZZZ

However you gott'a realize how funny this is in light of the current thread on the FFA and their "Overreach".

You will not collect $200.00 but go directly to jail. Just like Monopoly. Cool. And as the oil company I use to work for found, it matters not if you do not know about the law or not, it is no excuse. There is no grace. You have broken the law whether you knew about it or not. Sigh. It will never end. Soon all model aircraft flying will be prohibited by law. It is only a matter of time. Anyone for tether cars? As long as they do not bounce we should be OK.
