TF Score results?practice plane
« on: July 12, 2006, 02:18:59 AM »
Has anyone recently flown the TF Score? What was the all up weight and engine combo that worked with the stock tank?Performance? Quirks? I am starting to bash  one with the Morris phenolic belcrank/ CF pushrod/ ball link control system, ST 51 for power. I've read all the threads I can find, but nothing definitive.............

I'm NOT an ARF fan, but the price was right.Magnum on the waiting list of projects....
I have a Nobler thats beautiful( tissue and dope, original fox 35 1950's mint engine)  ready for OTS competition, and another virgin SIG Chipmunk. These are currently closet queens. I got the Score to knock the rust loose. I dont want to kill the queens that I've invested major time on(emotional attachment!)!  I'm a little rusty on the Pattern.need practice ....The ARF was the way to go(crummy covering and all)....Whats your take on it?Anyone?

I'm probably going to do  one, too.  Complete Morris control System, Tigre .60 or Saito .56, recovered with a different film (probably MicaFilm) and a Tettra tank.  Now I have an extra $70 bucks and 40 hours invested in an ARF???! Sigh . . .

See you @ Scobee
