Thanks for those pictures Randy. Yes, ignition is a challenge but also very rewarding when it all works like it is supposed to. Once you have flown it everything else is kind of ho hum. The right engine in the right plane with the right prop works. An Anderson Spitfire or and Orwick puts out way more usable power than most think. I fly old time at local contests with ignition because I need the extra points. And it is fun. However, I have not been able to fly for the last two years because of illness. Hoping maybe this year will be better as I am finaly off the cortisone treatment that I was on for over a year after they found out what I had.
I sure missed being there. The comradery in the ignition circle is second to none. Every one helps every one else. I do wish more would fly it. The years I was there we had as many as 14. Guess we are all getting old.
