Those fliers who are coming to the Baton Rouge contest (OCT 18TH - 19TH), and have not reserved a room should do so as soon as possible. Most of the Baton Rouge motels are booked, except for some of the finer motels. This all due to LSU football being at home. However, there are rooms available in Deham Springs, LA, a small town about a 10-15 min. drive to our contest site. The rates are much lower than Baton Rouge. These Denham Springs motels had rooms available as of this afternoon; BEST WESTERN($67-75.00), Days INN($75-79.00), CAROM INN($65.00), LA QUINTA INN & SUITES($110.00), AND IN Baton Rouge- SUPER 8 BR/I-12 location- ($66-75.00). If any of you have had trouble getting a reservation please give me a call (225)629-0290). Another plus for booking D.S. ROOMS is that there are excellent restaurants and cafes near all of the motels. My apologies for any inconvenience and any added expense. I did not look at the LSU SCHEDULE CLOSE ENOUGH WHEN WE SCHEDULED our contest. We will try to avoid this kind conflict in the future.
